Some parents in Frisco, Texas, are fuming because their public school district allowed Christian evangelists to provide Bibles to students on school grounds, which administrators say was done to stop even more proselytizing outside the schools.
Original post:
Well, It's sad when people push out one "religion" to allow another "religion" into their school. This story was posted on FoxNews today and I just find it sad. Don't they realize that Darwin's theory is just that... a theory.. and they treat it like a "religion" or law none-the-less.

Update:
Well, in all places of inspiration (the shower), I think I have something new to add on this story. (thanks be to God.) I think a crucial portion of this story boils down to "separation of church and state." Many people are taught (in public schools) about this philosophy that was spoken of by Thomas Jefferson. In modern understanding, this (separation of church and state) means that the state (government) shall not be controlled or run by the church. There is a fine line between what is presented by textbooks and the actual meaning of this phrase. (exact opposite in this case) I believe that due to the fact that a large majority of our founding fathers were in fact Christian, this was not how they meant it to be taken nor how they understood Jefferson. (See Link A, Link B - Known Scientists' quotes)
While Jefferson, along with a few others, were not explicitly Christian, they didn't deny the existence of a higher being, God. This being said, their fear was not of the church being in control of the government, but rather, the government (state) being in control of the church; governing what the church can and cannot do or say. This is truly evident in the practical understanding God gave me tonight. Take a look at a chicken. What does a chicken have that is crucial to it's life? I know, you're thinking a lot of stuff, ie. head, wings, etc. I'm looking at something very basic. Bones. What chicken is popular now-a-days for simplity and ease to just pick it up and eat it? Boneless. (and maybe even skinless) Now, did God make this? No. Man took the bones out. (Yes, I'll leave that as a non-p.c. answer)
Do we see a correlation between bones and God? (I guess you should say backbone to be specific.) Without a backbone, a chicken would be just a tub of lard with little value. Same goes for any animal (or person) with a vertebrae. Without a backbone, you can't stand or maintain any practical functionality. You might as well had just not been created. That's what our society has done by eliminating God from everything we see, hear and even learn. It's almost as if God is counter to any good learning or wisdom, as if we can do better than anything "religion" might say or do. We are a society bent on taking out the backbone in everything, including responsibility, government, and ourselves.
End of update.
